1. Policy overview

This website (www.fameo.co.uk) is operated by Fameo Limited (referred to as "we/our/us/Fameo"). All jewellery sold on Fameo.co.uk website is backed with a limited lifetime repair or replacement warranty , which means that for as long as the original purchaser owns our jewellery they are warranted against defects in materials or workmanship. Fameo shall either repair or replace the defective product or component at no charge. Jewellery found to be defective will be repaired or replaced at our option.

Our limited lifetime repair or replacement warranty provides coverage for defects in manufacturing only (based upon OUR inspection and sole determination) and expressly excludes coverage for excessive wear and tear and/or physical/accidental abuse, loss and theft and deterioration resulting from accident, negligence, or tampering. Our warranty is valid only at Fameo.co.uk. Improper repair or warranty service performed by someone other than Fameo.co.uk will void this warranty.

3. Warranty policy

All jewellery, purchased from Fameo website ( www.fameo.co.uk) is covered by a limited lifetime repair or replacement warranty for any defect, such as, but not limited to breakage, noticeable deformation, bending and denting that might occur with normal wear. Loss or damage is not covered resulting from abuse, normal wear, mysterious disappearance or repair, sizing or any other work done on your jewellery other than by Fameo or another jewellery company that we have specifically authorized. Fameo will repair or replace your setting at our option, if it is defective in materials or craftsmanship.

Any claim arising under this limited lifetime warranty must be submitted by the original purchaser and shall include proof of purchase and original warranty card. During said warranty period Fameo shall, at its option, either replace or repair, at no charge to the original purchaser, any parts or components that are found to be defective by Fameo. Fameo shall not be responsible for or obligated to pay for shipping or other transportation related costs or expenses in connection with any defective products or components that are either returned to Fameo´s facility or any authorized repair partner and/or any replacement products or components that are shipped from Fameo pursuant to this warranty.

To send us the defective jewellery to be repaired or replaced, please box up your jewellery article(s) wrapping each piece securely and send it to us prepaid and insured for the full price by a traceable carrier such as Royal Mail or Citi Link with a copy of your receipt and original warranty card or Certificate of Authenticity to:

We will only accept returned deliveries after activation of the return merchandise authorization (RMA) number through your online account at this website ( www.fameo.co.uk) and when only sent using the pre-paid, personalized return label enclosed. Any returned products that are not accompanied by an official RMA number will be refused and sent back to you at your expense. You should not write luxury related words anywhere on the package, as this invites possible theft of the package. We cannot accept returns if you deliver them by hand or via an unauthorized carrier. Our experts will inspect the returned contents upon receipt of your return for any signs of wear, tear and tampering before issuing refunds, replacements or credits. You should be aware that once the return process begins you will not be able to cancel any additional contracts you may have with us until the return process is complete. You will be responsible for the costs of returning the product, which will be deducted from your refund unless we delivered the wrong product to you, or if the product is damaged or defective upon arrival.

4. Warranty conditions

Fameo will provide service for damage due to normal use such as: broken chains, bracelet links or clasp, kinks or knots in chains or bracelets, chipped, cracked or scratched gemstones, permanently misshapen or dented jewelry, broken, worn or bent prongs, cracked or thinning ring bands, broken earring posts, gouges or discoloration.

Fameo will tighten or replace any stones in case of loss from the mounting, provided the stone(s) returned with the jewellery article. Other parts needed to maintain products and the replacement of stones due to normal wear and tear are the purchaser´s responsibility and are not covered by this warranty. All products or components replaced under warranty become the property of Fameo. All replacement parts, such as stones, will be considered to be part of the original product.

Fameo does NOT cover the following
the loss, theft or mysterious disappearance of the centre and/or side stones;
resizing by one full ring size up or down;
theft, loss and/or mysterious disappearance of the jewellery article(s);
damage resulting from unauthorized repair; damage caused during delivery, negligence, misuse or abuse;
alteration or intervention performed other than by an authorized Fameo partner;
jewellery article(s) with altered or removed hallmarked stamps;
cost of shipping to or from Fameo London service facility.

This limited lifetime repair or replacement warranty is valid only at Fameo website (www.fameo.co.uk). Improper repair or service performed by someone other than Fameo will void this warranty. Fameo limited lifetime warranty is valid only for products owned by the original purchaser and purchased at Fameo website or Fameo authorised retailer. A proof of purchase documents and the original warranty card, must be provided in order to receive the warranty service.

5. Warranty limitations

This limited lifetime repair or replacement warranty provides that, subject to the following limitations, each product will be free from defects in material and workmanship and will conform to Fameo´s specification for the particular product.

Limitation of remedies
Your exclusive remedy for any defective product is limited to the repair or replacement of the defective product. Fameo may elect which remedy or combination of remedies to provide in its sole discretion. Fameo shall have a reasonable time after determining that a defective product exists to repair or replace a defective product. Fameo´s replacement product under its limited lifetime warranty will be manufactured from new and serviceable used parts.
Limitation of damages
Fameo´s entire liability for any defective product shall in no event exceed the purchase price for the defective product. This limitation applies even if Fameo cannot or does not repair or replace any defective product and your exclusive remedy fails of its essential purpose.
No consequential or other damages
Fameo has no liability for general, consequential, incidental or special damages. These include mysterious disappearance, loss of stones, the cost of recovery of lost stones, and any inspection, testing, or redesign caused by any defect or by the repair or replacement of products arising from a defect in any product.
Your responsibilities
You must maintain your product in accordance with the requirements set forth by the Fameo´s specifications. Fameo will have no liability for any product returned if Fameo determines that the product was not sold to you as new and/or or the product was stolen from Fameo.

6. General disclaimer

FAMEO DISCLAIMS ANY LIABILITY FOR CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES FOR BREACH OF WRITTEN OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF THE PRODUCT, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS. IN NO EVENT SHALL FAMEO, BE LIABLE FOR SPECIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES WHICH INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, ANY DELAY IN RENDERING SERVICE, OR LOSS OF USE DURING THE REPAIR PERIOD OF THE PRODUCT (S) OR WHILE OTHERWISE AWAITING PARTS. IN NO EVENT SHALL ANY LIABILITY UNDER THIS WARRANTY EXCEED THE REPLACEMENT COST OF ANY DEFECTIVE PRODUCT OR COMPONENT THEREOF, AND FAMEO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR FOR ANY OTHER DAMAGE OR LOSS NOT EXPRESSLY ASSUMED AS SET FORTH HEREIN.
