What you need to know about product availability

Through our online catalogue, we clearly display the product status, product availability and estimated delivery date for all products (jewellery and jewellery related items). The product´s availability is the estimated time it will take us to prepare it for despatch and in general, enables you to estimate how long it will take to receive it after you placed your order. Time and schedules are always measured in working days, where our working days are between Monday to Friday and do not include Saturdays, Sundays or Public Holidays.

Please note, that the preparation process, collectively called product status in the product descriptions, may be affected by a variety of reasons, including the extra services you have ordered in the shopping basket and/or by the payment option you choose during the order checkout. This will be reflected in the ordered product availability only after you fully submit your order.

To avoid disappointment, you should always use the estimated despatch dates shown for your product selection as a guide only taking on account what could affect your order estimated despatch date:

You can always review the most current status of your order through your online account. Additionally, we will send you an email every time when your order status changes to keep you up to date about the progress.

Understanding the product stock status

Generally, the product status explains the product availability schedule. For example, if the product is "Out of stock" it will have a 15-days availability.

In stock
The product is in stock at our London office ready for immediate dispatch.
Out of stock
The product will be ordered direct from our workshop upon receipt of your order. We estimate the delivery time to be 10-14 working days depending upon availability from our workshop.
Made to order
The product will be ordered directly from our workshop upon receipt of your order. We estimate the delivery time to be 10-14 working days depending upon availability from our workshop.
Pre-order
The product is either in the development range and is due to be released in the next 30 days, or the product has very recently been released and demand is high. As soon as this item is available, your order will be treated as a priority above others and dispatched to you. Delivery times of up to 45 days are possible.

Understanding product availability schedules

The product availability schedule refers to the length of time it takes before the product is available for our shipment department. For example, if the product is "In stock" it will have a 24-hour availability. In other cases, we may have to receive the product from the bank, Assay office or produce it, so it will take longer for us to despatch it. The following availabilities you may come across in our catalogues are:

Usually ships within 24 hours
This is the estimated time it will take to pack the product and prepare it for dispatch. Our online inventory database is current and most displayed products are available and can usually be shipped within 24 hours.
Other specific length of time (e.g., 3-4 days)
This product is available, but not in our fulfilment centre and this is the estimated time it will take us to receive it from the workshop or produce it, pack and prepare it for dispatch. Please refer to the product status for more details.

Ordering products with different availabilities

If your order includes several products with different availabilities, you should use the longest availability time in your order. That is because multiple product orders are held for despatch until all products are available. For instance, if you have ordered three products, and two have an availability of 24 hours while one has an availability of 2 to 3 days, your order will be despatched in 2 to 3 days.

If you want us to dispatch products as they become available, you can use two options:

  1. Despatch products as they become available by paying for the additional delivery charges.
  2. Place separate orders for each product and take advantage of our free delivery.

The above excludes certain situations, when products from your order may be sent in more than one delivery. For example, you may receive multiple deliveries if your order contains very expensive jewellery that needs to be despatched separately for security reasons. In that case, regardless of the number of deliveries you receive, you will still enjoy an advantage of our free delivery offer.

Calculating the total order delivery time

Once you know the product status and product availability, you can use the despatch time to calculate the total delivery time for your order: Product Availability + Dispatch Time = Total Delivery Time.

For example, if the product status is "In stock" and it has 24-hour availability and it is despatched via Royal Mail special delivery, you should receive your product on the next working day after you place your order. And to keep you up to date of the progress of your delivery, we will always send you one email when we despatch your order, confirming the date, contents and method of delivery.
