What you need to know about return charges

Fameo offers free delivery on all products dispatched to mainland addresses in England, Wales and Scotland as well as to UK Highlands, Jersey, Guernsey, Isle of Man and Scottish Isles, however if you cancel your order after it has been dispatched by our carrier, you will be responsible for all outward and return delivery charges, unless you are returning the product because it is faulty, damaged in transit or delivered to you by error.

Fameo also offers custom order and commissioned products (jewellery). Returning products that are created as a special order and/or custom design, a custom order, or jewellery that requires modification such as engraving, ring sizing or exchanging gemstones and is ordered on a commission basis is subject to restocking charges.

Fameo always go the extra mile to ensure your satisfaction and enclose many free extras in your order, such as a cleaning cloth, presentation box or Certificate of Ownership. And if some of this packaging materials are missing, Fameo will still accept your return, but will deduct the cost of the materials from your refund.

Return charges depend on the following return reasons and/or circumstances:

1. We will NOT charge you outward and return delivery fees when you are returning a product using the pre-paid, personalised return label if:

You are returning the product for refund under the 30-day faulty product guarantee;
You are returning the damaged product for refund or replacement under the delivery assurance.

2. We will charge you both outward and return delivery fees when you are returning the product using the pre-paid, personalised return label if:

You are returning the product for any reason under the 15-day money-back guarantee.

3. We will charge you a return and new outward delivery fee when you are returning the product using the pre-paid, personalised return label if:

You are returning the product for the replacement or an exchange after 30 days;
You are returning the product for repairs under a Lifetime Warranty;
You are returning the product for the replacement under a Lifetime Warranty.

4. In addition to possible delivery fees, we will charge you a restocking fee when you are returning a custom order, personalised and commissioned product using the pre-paid, personalised return label if:

You are returning the commissioned product for any reason;
You are returning the personalised product for any reason.

You can always check the total amount that will be deducted from your refund using the return charges schedule card enclosed with your order.

Delivery rates and restocking charges schedule

All your ordered products are always delivered separately and we will never merge multiple products in one delivery for security reasons. The total amount that will be deducted from your refund depends on the order type and return reason according to the following schedule:

Standard catalogue product outward delivery: £6.95
Standard catalogue product return delivery: £5.95
Commissioned product restocking fee: 15% or minimum of £100.00
Personalised product restocking fee: 1% or minimum of £10.00

Delivery charges reflect insurance and delivery cost charged by Royal Mail next day service and guarantees that we will receive your return on time.

Missing packaging material charges schedule

We will accept the return of the product with missing or damaged packaging materials. The total amount that will be deducted from your refund depends on the package material type and according to the following schedule:

Fameo signature box: £5.95
Lifetime Warranty Card: £2.95
Certificate of Authenticity: £1.95
Certificate of Ownership: £15.00
Jewellery cleaning cloth: £1.95

The original list of all your package contents can be found on the packing slip inside your delivery. Please check it before returning your order to avoid missing packaging material charges.
