Pave

The pave uses a carpet of tiny gemstones to pave or encrust the body of the jewelry piece. The stones are set flush with the surface of the metal which emphasizes a mass effect rather than a single stone.

A prong setting puts the emphasis on the stone and not the metal supporting it by employing narrow strips of metal to lift the stone up and allowing the facets of the gemstone to catch light

Tsavorite

Tsavorite was only recently discovered in the 1969 in the Tsavo National Park area in Kenya, Africa. It is a grossular family of garnets, which also include the extremely rare Demantoid Garnet. Garnets are believed to provide for safety to travelers on journeys. In Biblical recordings, Noah used a Garnet lantern to guide the Ark.
